A trundle bed, how does it work?

Our TYKO trundle daybed is a retractable trundle bed. This means it features a second slatted base placed under the first one, which can be easily pulled out and set up as needed. Specially designed legs unfold under the retractable section and the mattress can already be in place (mattress sold separately).

Choosing a 90x190 trundle bed gives you a real children's bed with an extra sleeping space added whenever needed. You then have two children's beds. The trundle daybed can be used when two children share the same room and space is limited. It can also be used on a more occasional basis, when friends are invited to sleep over.

This children's trundle bed also doubles as a daybed that can be placed against a wall to create a cosy reading nook, for example.
