How to choose your model?

You can even prioritise the use of PEFC or FSC certified wood, which comes from eco-managed forests. This is true for the walking trolley, but also for any other wooden element such as a wooden baby room, for example.

It is important that the base is sufficiently heavy and solid to offer maximum stability. The wheels of the trolleys should be adjustable to better manage the speed of the trolley. A stop system to prevent the trolley from tipping over can also be useful in choosing an even more secure model.

Finally, the presence of an activity board on the trolley will be ideal for also having fun with the games offered on the trolley.

What furniture for a wooden baby room?

Beyond the walking trolley, there are many other elements that you will need to choose to create the desired wooden baby room. It is entirely possible to opt for a complete baby room or for several separate elements depending on your preference.

The bed

Opting for a wooden baby bed is an excellent idea to prioritise a natural and durable material for your child's bed. You can choose a cot and then a child's bed when the child is old enough to sleep in it. There are also more long-lasting solutions for a wooden baby room, such as the convertible baby bed. This piece of furniture will transform as the child grows and their needs change, for example, from a cradle to a cot and then to a child's bed.

If you want to enjoy a complete wooden baby room without cluttering the space too much, you can also choose a combination baby bed. This piece of furniture will combine both a child's bed and other elements such as a changing table or storage unit, for example.

The mattress

The choice of mattress is also crucial to allow the child to have comfortable and restful nights. We will therefore opt for a model adapted to the age of the child, favouring natural materials such as organic cotton or bamboo, for example. To choose the right baby mattress, we will also pay attention to the dimensions which can vary from one bed model to another.

Storage

Storage is also very important to be able to enjoy a practical and tidy room. Most often, the use of a chest of drawers is recommended, which allows easy organisation of clothes, nappies, wooden toys, etc. There are also models on which you can install a removable changing top. The chest of drawers thus becomes a changing table for as long as necessary, and then the changing top can be removed when the child no longer needs it.

The wardrobe is also part of the furniture that you will most often find in a child's room. It provides a large storage space and notably a hanging rail to facilitate the organisation of clothes.

The changing table

Finally, we will add a changing table to the wooden baby room. As mentioned previously, it is possible to add a changing top to a chest of drawers which can then be removed when it is no longer needed. If space in the room allows, you can also add a changing table in addition to the bed and storage.
